White Toyota HiAce shuttle van shown in the Surf Ranch fleet

SURF RANCH · GROUP PLANNING

Group airport transfers to San Juan del Sur

A group of eight on one flight and two groups of four on different flights need different transfer budgets. Count passengers per pickup, then add the luggage and boards before choosing a vehicle.

PLANNING NOTES

One vehicle or two pickups?

These one-way fares are for a private vehicle to Surf Ranch San Juan del Sur. The booking form prices the vehicle by airport and passenger band. Compare each pickup separately if the party flies in at different times.

Eight passengers arriving together from Managua use the US$190 band. Four passengers on an earlier flight and four on a later flight would be two US$150 rides, or US$300 total. Compare the US$110 difference with the waiting time before agreeing to share one pickup.

For six travelers with daypacks, share the count and flight. For six surfers, send the number and length of the board bags too. Reception can review the suitable vehicle for the actual load.

Mitsubishi L200 pickup in the shuttle fleet

The fleet lists a sedan for one to three and a Mitsubishi L200 pickup for up to four. Share passenger and luggage counts before requesting a specific vehicle. For more than ten travelers on one flight, ask reception about multiple vehicles.

PLANNING NOTES

Flight list and return trip

Send airport, airline, flight number, arrival date and local time, lead passenger, total travelers and luggage for each pickup. Put the resort destination in every message. For a return, give the flight departure time and ask reception to confirm the pickup time. Managua is about two hours by road; Liberia about three and San José about five to six. The Costa Rica routes cross a land border. Timing depends on traffic and border waits.
