Calculate the dog fee for your dates
Count the nights and dogs first. One dog for a Friday-to-Sunday stay is two nights × US$20, or US$40 plus tax. One dog for three nights adds US$60 plus tax. Two dogs staying three nights come to six dog-nights, or US$120 plus tax. These amounts are the dog charge alone. Add the room total for the people travelling.
The published rate specifies dogs and asks guests to notify the resort when making the reservation. If you’re travelling with two dogs, ask reception to confirm both for the room you plan to book. If you’re bringing another kind of pet, ask about acceptance and the applicable charge before paying.
Choose the room for your people first
A standard room fits one or two guests. A couple travelling with one dog can start by checking the queen or twin configuration, then confirm the dog with reception. A condo fits up to four people on two queen beds with a private patio. A villa also fits four people and has two bedrooms.
The photo shows Condo 5’s bedroom facing the glass doors. If you want easy outdoor access for short walks, ask reception which available room has the most suitable route, whether there are stairs and where dogs may go. Ask whether the patio is enclosed if that matters for your dog.
Coordinate the first afternoon
The photograph shows the exterior entrance to Condo 3. Check-in starts at 2 pm and checkout is by noon. When you arrive, ask reception to point out where to take your dog outdoors. Confirm the rules for gardens, dining areas and the pool deck, and whether the dog may stay in the room while you eat breakfast.
If you plan a surf lesson or a ride into town, arrange who will stay with the dog. For an airport transfer, tell reception the number and size of your dogs when asking for the vehicle quote. Confirm transport separately from the room and pet charge.
A message you can send before booking
“We’re two adults arriving on [date] and leaving on [date] with one dog weighing [weight]. We’re considering a [room type]. Could you confirm the room accepts our dog for those nights, the full charge with tax, where the dog is allowed, and how the fee is collected?”
Enter the travelling guests in the booking search to check the room total. Tell reception about the dog as part of your reservation, and keep their confirmation with your room details. If the dates or dog count change, ask them to update the fee for the new stay.
