SURF RANCH · SAN JUAN DEL SUR
San Juan del Sur for couples
Choose between a room for two, a patio or separate villa bedrooms, then build a weekend around a bay walk, a surf lesson or a slow resort morning.
Which room will you actually use?
For two adults who plan to explore all day, a standard room with a queen bed is the straightforward starting point. Standards also have twin-bed configurations, so check which one you select. For coffee or downtime outside your room, compare a condo with a private patio and two queen beds.
The villa gives you two bedrooms and a rooftop terrace if you’ll spend more time at the resort. If a quiet location matters, tell reception before booking and ask which available rooms fit that preference. Compare all three prices for the same dates.

A beach morning for two different interests
If both of you want a lesson, ask reception about the session at Playa Remanso. If one wants to surf and the other wants to walk the bay in town, arrange the two outings separately. The resort is inland, and a trip to the waterfront is separate from transport for a booked lesson.
If you’d rather spend the morning together at the resort, linger over breakfast and meet at the pool. Massage is offered at Surf Ranch. Ask reception about availability, timing and price before putting a session on the itinerary.
Dinner in town or at the resort
Direct rooms include breakfast. If you want dinner in town both evenings, that plan leaves you free to choose where to eat. If you plan poolside lunches and meals at the resort, compare the all-inclusive upgrade. For two adults for two nights, it adds US$160 plus tax to the direct room rate.
On departure morning, have breakfast and pack before the noon checkout. If lunch by the bay is part of your drive home, keep that meal separate: all-inclusive coverage ends at noon. Confirm the transport if you won’t have a car.
